Chamalki Madhusha graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (2019) and a Master of Philosophy in Chemistry (2022) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. At the same time, she worked as a graduate research assistant at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Chamalki’s research interests are nanomaterial synthesis and characterization, food chemistry, drinking water purification, and materials chemistry. She joined NSEL in February of 2023, focusing on functionalization of graphene through green methods and making advanced composites based on functionalized graphene.
