Tuan Kien (Kelvin) received his Bachelor Degree in Materials Science & Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore in 2018. After completion of the BSc, he worked as a Failure Analysis Laboratory Engineer in a semiconductor company in Singapore for three years. While working in industry he managed to maintain his research interest in advanced functional materials and technologies for energy storage (Li-ion batteries and supercapacitors). He joined the NSEL team at Monash University in April 2022 as a PhD student, focusing on the utilisation of 2D materials via printing techniques towards next-generation energy storage devices.
